Today's session: 2km, 80mins

Our plan was to do 3km today. But seems like we ended up with only 2km.
We went to Parrs park today. Morgaina's flat mates recommended this park because it's 1km for 1 lap and easy to count the distance. I think he meant the footpath in the park.
The footpath was hard.. sometimes steep, mostly quite narrow. It's a reasonable width, but a bit too narrow for us COGY beginners.
then, after 1 lap, we gave up the footpath. We practiced on the vehicle path inside the park. I was not sure about the distance, but just guessed, if we pedal to the other end, that would be about 1km. My guess was wrong, it is only 500m.
Anyway, we tried the parasol. It was quite cloudy today, but I wanted to see if the parasol structure has any problem. It was windy. I was worried if it gets any wind resistance, too. We found, no problem at all, which is a good discovery.
Probably because of the rather calm temperature, we did whole 2km very easily. Let's see how it goes next week, when we do 3.5km!
Today's equipment:
-parasol
-ankle-toe tie up thing for both feet to keep the feet up
-(we did not use the leg strap today)
-pedals for small feet (base is the same, but the straps are much shorter)
Things I want to consider:
-water bottle keeper so that Morgaina can drink whenever she wants
-music to keep us going
-steering unit to be a little lower
-arm rests to be narrower from each other
What do you think, Morgaina?
