3rd session

Our 3rd session was held at the Parking place of Glen Eden Community House. Width about 33m, 1.5 lap will be 100m. We set today's goal at first. 1500m. no less, no more.

On our 2nd session, we pedalled on the road. Not only we have to be careful with vehicle traffic, we also struggled with the slope. The Road itself is flat, but the surface sinks close to the curb. This made the direction control harder for both of us (COGY and normal manual wheelchair). This is the main reason why we chose this parking space this time.

How many laps do we have to do to make it to 1500m? Whopping 22.5 laps! I felt easier to do many small laps. But off course, it is boring! Then Koko got a homework. Find a better practice place. Parrs Park is one of the option, although it is not totally flat.

Another concern is, we took almost 1 hour to do 1.5km. This means, almost 6 hours to finish Round the Bays! We may better start earlier on the event day.

Today, we applied 2 more equipment. one is Knee belt to keep the knee position aligned. 2nd is a strap to pull up the feet when necessary. 2nd is Morgaina's idea. She looks like a rocky controlling the horse (her own foot). We laughed at this idea and it worked brilliant! Fun and effective.
